Microsoft just released the official beta exam for Microsoft Azure IoT Developers.

Exam AZ-220: Microsoft Azure IoT Developer (beta)

The AZ-220: Microsoft Azure IoT Developer (beta) exam validates a candidate’s expertise to implement the IoT solution infrastructure and validates the abilities to provision and manage both edge and non-edge devices.

Next to that, the capabilities of processing and managing data will be tested throughout this exam. Operational skills like monitoring, optimizing and securing the end-to-end solution are also included in the exam.

Following non-exhaustive list of Azure Services will be tested:

• Azure IoT Hub
• Azure IoT Edge
• Device Provisioning Service
• Azure Stream Analytics
• Time Series Insights
• Azure IoT Central
• ….

This exam is targetting Azure IoT Developers that are responsible for implementing and maintaining the cloud and edge portions of an Azure IoT Solution.
